Hidcote Lavenders down the drive.

We saw this idea when holidaying in France...the drive was much longer there and until a closer look they looked like round blue balls.
It seems to have worked here,there is good drainage which Lavenders like. Hidcotes seem to keep their shape too.

Lovely show of colour there Meadowland. I have a few lavender bushes (The small variety one.) and they have done well this year. I've just picked some flowers to take indoors.

It does look very attractive Julia. Hidcote is my favourite lavender. The heavy showers have splayed mine..
