Despite Spring bulbs,the various grasses are winning. I feel I will have to go with them.

I still like the rustic feel, Julia. Maybe just learn to love it. It's an area you have that's different from other areas in your garden, it's good to have a change. Looks right!

It's a place where you could put a bug hotel for the bees and butterflies. Just a thought.
