What is that lovely smell outside?

Peacock Orchid
It was originally described as Acidanthera bicolor but it is now named Gladiolus murielae
I forgot about it and was not sure what I planted with tall, sword-like foliage which provided vertical interest on the deck for most of the spring and summer.... but not flowers. They just opened and I am happy to see them.

Aren't they fabulous. I didn't realize they had a scent Klahanie, I grew some a couple of years ago, they didn't come again though. I do love the shape of the flowers..

I hope yours do too. I think it probably was the cold and wet in the winter which rotted the corms

These are lovely Klahanie. I used to have some but they didn’t survive after their first year.
