Thanks both ... it has a wild Primrose colour to it.

It's beautiful, Shirley! I bought one a few years ago, 2019 I think, when we had the record heatwave in August, but the heat killed it. It had only been planted a few months & hadn't had time to grow much in the way of roots.

David, that's a shame. It has been a scorcher of a day today ... not much cooler by the sea either!

Today & at the weekend it will be even more of a "scorchio"! 😆

Early mornings and late afternoons/evenings are best for me ... far too hot in between those times.

Well at least from next week we will be back to normal temps for September as this current heatwave will then just become a memory!

David, another warm and sunny day today, but heavy rain is forecast for the tomorrow and the whole of next week!

We had a brief thunderstorm on Sunday (3rd Sep.) but with very strong winds & hailstones. I took a video of the storm from our balcony!

Since then we have had another, (at 2.30am!), though it wasn't accompanied by strong wind & hailstones, just a lot of rain during about 20 mins.

Today has been overcast & VERY windy! It's been quite cool as well. I've put on a thin jumper today - the first time in about a month or more! Seems we are in for a very windy week & more rain on Wednesday evening & during Thursday.

It seems to happen about this time every year now ... :o(
