This one has just flowered over last few days, had it for quite a few years with nothing but foliage, moved all the iris rhizomes to their own plot last year which seems to have worked

moved all my iris germanica's last year as had years with no flowers but plenty of foliage, garden is south facing so dug up new plot for them all, plenty of rhizome showing and all got a good baking from last year's summer, may was exceptionally good for flowers and i have 5 stalks come up now ready to flower again, so something worked, oh they also got threatened with the bin if they didn't flower this year :) :)

Hi Davey, my Iris were not doing at all well, so a couple of years ago I moved them to the front garden where it's dry and sunny and they have flowered abundantly. It looks as though your Iris are thriving now.

That's a beautiful Iris, Davey! It it's in a dry sunny spot it will have got a baking this September - just what they need to put on a fine show next year! I expect most people's Irises will bloom very well next year!
