Blooming Cactus

This cactus was still blooming in late morning in Hayward, CA. (San Francisco Bay Area). The flowers usually open at night. Photo Sept 12, 2023.

There’s many millions of cacti in the SF Bay Area. It’s very commonly grown because of the very long dry season. There’s some very large Cereus repandus (which I think this) more than 50 ft tall in the east bay.

Thanks! They’re common in the SF Bay Area. The avocado tree to the right was very nice, also.

There’s many much larger blooming all over the SF Bay Area. Even here they’re all flowering everywhere in San Diego.
