This seem to be blind on one eye. Comes to our fountain often. We also have a youger one around that prefers birdbaths.

He's lovely to see Klahanie. I suppose they have similar problems to their eyes like some of us do, or it could just have been an accident. We saw a Long-eared Owl the other day and he was enormous. He flew into the local woods near here where they have a few pine trees. Never seen that owl before.

It's so great to see your wildlife Klahanie. Maybe a rodent clawed his eye if he caught it by the tail. Such a shame, but he's managing well isn't he..

Amazing that it has survived so well if it is blind, Klahanie. A fabulous animal.
