Thanks, Meadowland, It was a photo we took of the Kingfisher down the road, I added another one and painted the scenery from my imagination. I kept the stream a light colour to emphasise the birds. My small watercolours take anything up to 12 hours of work as I like to put lots of coats of colour on and its fine detail too. With watercolours you have to go with it, it's not easy to correct over it as you well know from your beautiful work. Love the bee picture. x

Thanks Janey, I've been working on a Christmas booklet for the local children and the story I've written is about what's happening at the North Pole (Rudolph, Santa, etc.) also a few Christmassy poems, one poem about the stable at Bethlehem a few quizzes, a dot-to-dot snowman, and plenty of pictures to colour in. My brain keeps going with fresh ideas, so I keep writing them down.
