Thanks girls..he was there quite a while. My white buddleia attracted quite a few Sandra, but no Peacocks this year..
I do wonder where the butterflies shelter when we have the torrential downpours. Sunshine out, and there they are again :)

Ditto. We've quite a few fluttering about, too. Lovely to see.

Thanks Ange. Let's hope their numbers are multiplying. I've a little holly blue and a comma that seem to be around too..

Lovely photo. We've seen a few different sorts of butterflies this year but not in huge numbers. We have gaps in the sides of our shed roof and the moths and butterflies sometimes go in there. We found large moths in the folds of our large parasol that we rested on the seat under the carport when it rained.

We've been.lucky this year Kate. :))
That's interesting Linda. Have you named any?
Yes the butterflies like to.come and have a nosey in my garage too. They're looking for winter shelter, but with this warm spell they're out again. I've noticed the cabbage whites are missing, which I'm pleased about as the caterpillars have enjoyed my geraniums!
Ooh no, moths are beautiful, but I can't be near them at all..
