So, it’s pretty chilly there. Close to freezing is very cold.

Actually, this summer in San Diego was very wet. We typically receive no rain at all. We were hit by Tropical Storm Hillary back on August 20th and had record rains, more than 3.5 inches (89 mm) here. Some places had more than double that amount of rain.
