When did Hallowe'en become such a 'thing'?

I do like to see autumnal displays, even Halloween ones. However, not the tacky ones you often see.
This one is really nice and simple, Julia!🎃
I must try to buy some, perhaps tomorrow on my travels.
My sister's birthday is Halloween. We always had a spooky, pumpkins lit along window sills, apple-bobbin', birthday parties for her! Great memories!

I'm not a fan of Halloween either, but we seem to follow American events in many things these days. Anway,the chidren love it,so nice for them to celebrate..

Oh dear,and I have a dental check up soon,and I know one of my teeth is loose too ! I don't like Spooky sweets or similar..,but quite partial to a toffee or two ! :o)

Not a fan of what is now on sale in the shops for Halloween but I do like the pumpkins.
