Big cargo ship in our view

This is the story.
We have these ships (mostly Chinese) parking around our shores here waiting for Canadian products. We have a group of people fighting the Canadian government for years to do something about it as they wait here (free of charge) for weeks and sometime for months. The group (called "Shipwatch") is after the Vancouver port management not being capable better schedule the pick ups. Vancouver port does not have the best reputation in that regard. It was discussed in the parliament but nothing was done about it so far. Looks like the Canadian government has bigger priorities.
I feel sorry for the people who paid lots of money for ocean front property and they are looking at monsters like this. Their compressors are very noisy too, even we can hear them on the hill and these are not good for our overall sea life environment either. There are about 6 of them constantly just in our neighbourhood. We (personally) are lucky that they do not park in place that we can see them very often.
I zoomed in so I could see the ship crew on the deck (barely) for its size comparison.

Sorry to hear that your island has this problem Klahanie.

I'm sorry to hear that your island has such a problem with these cargo boats Klahanie. Your government ought to charge these vessels and then perhaps they wouldn't be there for too long. There must be a problem with unloading them at the docks. Perhaps the docks need to be expanded so they can get them away quicker. Has the Island got a petition up about it to send to the government?

Reading about it in the last 12 months the Canadian government's priorities seem interesting! Sorry this has been such a fight for you all.

Pardon me for liking Klahanie, I should have read about the ship first. That is annoying having these huge tankers waiting for months on end waiting for the green light. Very hard for all of residents to have to contend with the sight, sound and pollution of such mega ships.
There is no way designated holding bays can't be made for them?
At the end of the day it is in Vancouver's interest to be able to export
It's products as quickly as possible, at least in the time frame agreed.
