Beneficial for our heath.
Known as a 'living fossil', one of the world's oldest living tree species: it was around 350 million years ago
The word "ginkgo" comes from the Chinese word "yinxing" meaning "silver apricot"

Beautiful leaves and such a pretty light green/yellow in summer, Klahanie. All those eons of time it was quite happy without humans.

I've seen a couple of these trees around & their lemon yellow foliage is lovely! Lovely photo, Klahanie! 👍
