I was so pleased to see a female Blackbird eating the orange Pyracantha berries today ... :o)

Lovely little bird. It does look similar to the sparrow family. You have snow and we are due rain and high winds.....

The wind certainly blew last night. Calmer so far this morning.

He is a proper little ball isn’t he? I haven’t heard of this one. He looks like he is wearing his balaclava. Sensible bird in the snow….
