Red sky in the morning Shepherds warning....

Brilliant aren't they Ange. Another pretty sky today and there are a lot of streaks where the planes have been across too. We are battening down the hatches today with the expected southerly's later on this evening and tomorrow.

Hi Janey, yes it's lovely to see the different coloured skies. The moon lit up the garden last night. We are expecting another rough day today with wind and rain, but a lull from lunchtime till about three, so we are going for a walk then.

Nice to see the sunshine though. Here on the North West coast it's been rain wind rain wind rain wind!

Thanks Both, It's dull raining and windy, but we've managed to slip out for a walk in between rain belts. There's going to be another storm tonight. At least we just fed the ducks down by the river.

Managed to walk Lottie for half an hour, before the wind rose once again. How's the river doing Linda? Quite high I would imagine?

It's a very strong current and there are waves on it too. The geese were bobbing up and down on them, but were near to shelter. At least it didn't flood over at the river gardens this time. The fields near the river up Wyver Lane were flooded. Good you got your walk in with Lottie. The wind seems to have changed direction this morning. Just put the bin out....hoping it doesn't blow over.....

Thanks Kate, We've had some wonderful sunrises and sunsets here. Being high up we can see lots of sky.
