Crocus loving the sunshine today.

So pretty Shirley, the plain and striped petals are really unusual!

Thanks Janey, I cannot recall the variety but I know I planted some by my Mums/Grandparents grave and only a handful popped up. Churchyard squirrels no doubt had the rest ... :o(

Oh the wildlife, how we love them! The wood pigeons are the bane of my garden Shirley. They really have adapted their diet to anything and everything that shows the tiniest bit of growth!

Same here Janey ... they are such clumsy birds and now it seems they are trying to pair up... in my garden no less ... :o((

A beautiful Crocus flower, Shirley! 👍 I have a few flowering on the balcony as well. I'll upload a few pictures to my photos page later.

Thanks David and Kate ... I think that was the last time they opened up in the sunshine as it has hardly stopped raining since ... :o(

I took a couple of pictures of my few on the balcony again this morning. It's quite difficult to catch them when they are open but this morning in spite of the strong wind they had opened in the sunshine.
