Vinca minor

Vinca minor

Also known as periwinkle
We have several hills covered with it. It is quite aggressive spreader but if one needs a ground cover for a larger area .....it does the job. We have few purple ones and lots of Vinca major which I do not like as much. They are all inherited.

Yes, it can be a pest, but the bees love it. We have a pale bi-coloured one in a spot by the house and I have to yank yard of it out every couple of months: a love-hate relationship!

I have the same problem as Ange, it just goes and goes!
I do like it though!
