Hosta collection

I had to dig up my hostas to give them a chance. Now keeps slugs at bay with garlic water & vaseline at rim of the pot.

Thank you all, just applied the garlic wash so 🤞. Not sure they’ll look like this by end of summer!

I have put coffee grounds, some slug pellets and unravelled a wire type pan scrub thingy ... had a few days away and returned to find the critters have started munching the Hosta leaves ... :o((

Oh No! It really is the case of luck of the draw.... but going out in the dark on an evening with a torch can make a big difference. My husband thinks I'm mad!!

Ams, yesterday afternoon I was deadheading and looked down to see some tiny snails loitering in the stems of some Iris, then I found some much bigger ones in the Sedums. Finally, I dug out a big old Primrose and there were slugs of all sizes under it ... :o((
