Is it a perennial? I've put my washing out so now we have lashing rain and thunder!

Ange, it is a half hardy annual, flowering from June to November, is a sterile cultivar so does not produce seed.

I pegged washing out, rain fell, brought it back in, sun now shining so it's back out on the line! Typical British weather ...
