I have much more luck with viticellas than the large-flowered varieties, Kate. A lot of those in my garden have hardly grown at all this year.

It is a pretty one, Linda, but vigorous rather than well-behaved. If I ever grew it again I would mingle it with 'Betty Corning' which is the exact same shade but bell-shaped.
