Many buds of six days ago have now opened. I do wonder if this is 'Polish Spirit' planted years ago.

Julia, this one is something of a mystery to me as I have not planted a Clematis there since 2016! If it IS 'Polish Spirit' it has been hibernating for a number of years ... :o))

There are many of that colour Shirley...I have a similar one which is unnamed. Looks very healthy.
