Another of my little group of Evinson ‘Boulevard’ clems. Suitable for pots, although I think they are much happier in the ground. I suspect the roots get too warm in pots in full sun. I have two in pots that will be planted out in the autumn. This one is reminiscent of Mrs N Thompson to my mind.

Very pretty Clematis. The purple one I bought from a supermarket in April is full of buds again for the third flowering .. :o)
