I over Winter the Hostas in the greenhouse and tipped them out of their pots, divided up the bigger ones, then used the new mesh net circles to cover the pot hole. A satisfying job on this chilly day.

Well, I'm hoping they don't slither their way up the sides of the pots! I did smear Vaseline around the pot rims one year, far too messy and shan't do that again.

A good job done, Shirley. Where did you get the liners from?
My hostas have been much better this year. I filled the pot tops with cobbles and that seems to have delayed the usual ravages. In the garden they have been destroyed (again).

Angela, son-in-law ordered them for me so I really don't know! I just Googled 'Nylon mesh for plant pots' and there's a lot of choice. I can only say he won't purchase from Amazon! There were fifty of them for a low price apparently.

Thanks, Shirley. I'll look them up.

I do hope this works for you, Shirley 🤞
Keep us updated. You could be a pioneer on GoY if it works!
