Salvia Cerro Potosi

A really lovely gift from Sheila a few years ago. It's my favourite Salvia, flowering all summer and still lighting up the border. I've had so many new plants from it too. The leaves have a strong scent so as you brush past them in the garden, the smell is quite herby. It's hardy in my garden and evergreen. This one this year has reached four and a half feet in height.
I love it!

That’s a real stunner! Who wouldn’t love to have that colour in November!

That's a glorious sight for early November ... or any other time of the year!

Agree with Shirley...they aren't the easiest plants but your care has obviously paid off Janey.

Sheila, if you look close there's a small obelisk propping the branches up, it's been there a couple of years and it's all tied in now..:)
I know Karen! It is a beauty..
It's is Shirley, a real jewel in the garden.
This is quite an easy one to grow Julia. I haven't done anything special other than liquid seaweed when watering. In all I think there are seven still in flower, this being the best though..:)

Ah Janey that’s a great idea. My gardener does her best with bamboo sticks and string!

I used bamboo and string for the others Sheila or they just lean on other plants..:)

Beautiful plants, Janey! Incredible they should still be flowering in mid November!
