Azealia in bud

Hywel, is this a little early to have the buds on?

They usually seem to be there quite early but I've never noticed them actually opening in December.

Hope they’ll survive the cold 🤞.

Wow! That's early! I hope the frost doesn't get them.
Maybe cover them with some fleece.

It is amazing to see azalea bloom in this time of the year.
I an also surprised that my California lilac (ceanthus) is blooming (sparsely).
