These are the Dianthus that are blooming in my shade house garden at the moment. They are a favourite perennial of mine as they tolerate our horrid summer weather very well.

I was just thinking yesterday that I must get some Dianthus carthusianorum. It’s very tall, light and airy and stands up well to winds.

They are really lovely, what a collection BB! I have one that's surprisingly lasted a few years up here in the north east..:)
