What’s hummingbird’s juice?

I have a hummingbird nest with two babies in my Jungle Dragon Acalypha right now. January and February is hummingbirds’ nesting season here.

We have one hummingbird building a nest right now...pulling a fluff from my knitted blanket. It is little too early for them here.
Hummingbird juice is 1 part of sugar and 4 parts of water.
We bring it to broil and after couple of minutes its done.
You probably do not have to make it because there are plenty of flowers in your area year round.

I used to have a hummingbird feeder when I was lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, I used 2 parts water to 1 part of plain suger.
