It definitely was Shirley! I have often been toying with the idea of cutting a circle in my front lawn for a cherry tree, but it would be so hard to dig out due to clay soil.

Lovely to see the cherry blossom. All the trees seem to be full of blossom this year.

Rose, it's clay here too so it was hard work digging it out, then re-filling with top soil, compost and grit. Thank goodness it only had to be done once.
