Gorgeous Shirley. Sadly we no longer have ours … seven years ago Steve bought us one called “Golden Wedding” and we kept it in a pot. Not sure what we did wrong but we don’t have much luck with roses 🙁.

Rose, it's a wonderful time of year isn't it? I sat in the sunhouse this afternoon, just watching the Bees and Hoverflies working hard and listening to the birdsong, lovely!

Lovely rose, Shirley. Everything is so early this year, and the colours seem so vibrant. We went to Allestree Park yesterday, and part of it is wooded. The birdsong was beautiful. The Swans had their cygnets on the lake, and the male Swan was all feathered up and very aggressive, keeping all the other birds away.
