Yes Amy I do manage. Believe it or not the daytime seems the worst, I still almost jump out of my skin! Being between crossings like this you don't always get a subtle warning and when I'm engrossed in something it can be a "little" jolt! The Amtrak passengers are a little refined as I call it but those frieghts are very loud and obnoxious! lol! After my husband passed away (Nov.27) I moved here and spent a lot of nights at my Daughters, well the first night sleeping here alone I awoke with my bed sh~sh~shaking! Not knowing about the trains it almost scared the living daylights out of me! I can look back at it now and laugh!

Very green here and we have the rain to prove it! Right where those big trees are above the roof you see is the TRAIN! The tracks run right along there. We are between crossings and it is a very busy track! Talk about loud blasting horns and it sounds and feels like their coming thru and everything shakes!
