Seven-foot heleniums

Seven-foot heleniums and eight foot rudbeckia at the back.
Having heavy soil does have its advantages when you want to grow hungry plants! Gingers (hedychium) are coming into flower mid-picture, while at the bottom my cersis has been covered in clematis this summer - you can just spot the spent flowers

Looks wonderfully exotic Muddy and if it weren't for the colour of the Heleniums I would swear you were standing in my garden!
I spy a Trachycarpus in the background (I have one) and I too am growing Hedychiums (about to flower for the first time this year...yippee!) and Heleniums (not that one) Got no Cercis though. Would love one but no room.

Ha...ha you hiding in there, good job you gave the plant height, thought you were really small!! :-) Looking forward to seeing the gingers a bit more flowery.
