Lantana

A friend gave me this pretty pink and yellow Lantana but the hummers don't even notice it even though it's fairly close to the red and yellow Lantana that they absolutely LOVE ! This proves color really does make a difference when attracting certain wildlife.

Lantana is genus of 150 species of evergreen shrubs and perennials from tropical North, Central, and South America, and South Africa. Camara likes a minimum temp of 50F/10C.

Lovely colour mix. I(f it can only stand min 10C then that explains why we don't see it in Europe.

Your garden centers/greenhouses don't even carry them? We just treat them as annuals here.

Lantana Camara plants are infact sold here in the Uk, Unwins sell them, my fav is Tutti Fruti. I kept seeing the plant on holiday in hot countries but my garden is a sun trap and sheltered so Im going to give it a go this year in pots so I can keep them away from frost
