This lovely evergreen was tiny when I planted it overwinter and I have been pleasantly suprised by its speed of growth and volume of flowers

Love this photo! I'm thinking of planting an escallonia hedge with Apple Blossom. I would like to mix it with some of the other varieties, but wonder if the different growth rates would cause a problem - I want to keep it compact and low as the length is only 16ft. Any suggestions please??

Since writing the above, I have decided against the hedge in the front and will just enjoy my escallonia Apple Blossom in the back garden, where it can grow taller.
