Mid September. Not so green as it was.

It's about 1/3 acre Bonkers. The bottom part is mainly grass and fruit trees, but now we have this pond and a conifer bed in the lower garden too.

Think it looks great. Are you regarded as a bit strange giving this attention to your garden or do most Hungarians enjoy gardening?

Most Hungarians like to plant at the front of the house with conifers, shrubs, flowers etc, including the area next to the street outside their walls. As far as I can see the back gardens are for fruit and vegetables, especially grape vines. All older village houses have a garden the same size as ours. Many have poultry as well and a few have a pig. Our neighbours spend a lot of time tending the veg and vines which we could not do because we travel a lot.

You seem to have quite a large plot Chris.Something about water in a garden just sets it off so well.
