My cat does'nt like walking on gravel either, but what a lovely walk way.

A lot of interesting features...many textures and shapes....I don't mind gravel..it sure beats plain dirt...but my dog can't walk on gravel..it hurts her tiny little paws...the slate would help...but she wouldn't walk from one piece of slate to the other...oh, heck!!!..She's two and a half pounds, I guess I could just pick her up and carry her down the path (LOL)

Makes me want to walk up that path and see more.
