Do most of your plants overwinter in the ground?

Most do, I protect the banana, the one's that die down, I cover with straw and compost and there's signs of life, Woohoo..

Most die down and then return in the Spring. Are any of the plants evergreen?

The palms and Phormium (yellow wave) Phormium (Tena Purpureum) Fatsia and Hearts tongue Fern..
