Ginger flower

Pretty white flower. :o)

My Ginger has not flowered for 2 years now, this is lovely.

They like lots of water, this one has grown at the sides of the stream
Dont you love their smell??

I think I will have to take mine out of the pot and plant so I can keep it damp. I have not been lucky enough to smell the scent of a Ginge yet.

I've a friend who has tons of ginger around her studio, and she is the BIG green thumb i've met, so will ask her for some tips to grow them in a pot... :o)

These are a wonderful scent. I visit our university greenhouse in the fall, they've an big ginger tree that blooms then. I need to get on that. :-)
