Whats Freecycle Spritz? !

It's an organisation that you join. Its aim is to keep anything useable out of landfill and so you post 'wanted' or 'offered' things - anything - on your local area site. If you see anything you could use, you reply to the person and if you are lucky, you get the 'whatever' that was offered! There are so many things ranging from outgrown baby clothes to TVs, cookers, beds, you name it! I have given away various items including surplus plants, and received the troughs and tubs, and an electric propagator. I think it's a great idea. If you want to join your local group, go to www.freecycle.org and find the nearest to you.

Is that blue festuca grass in the trough?
23 Oct, 2008
Grenville, they don't allow pets so I don't suppose they would allow friends (or indeed family) either! I have no idea what the troughs are made of - sorry - I'm not clued up on materials.
Yes, Skippy, it's Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue'. I thought it went well with the Cyclamen leaves.

Yes...it really goes well...

Beautiful blues Spritz. Well planted.

good plant association, will those cyclamen survive though the winter?
30 Oct, 2008
It depends on how much rain there is - the flowers don't appreciate getting too wet!

Looks great. Love your crazy paving too!

Sadly, this is one of the grasses that the bovine intruders ate - so it's a bit tatty now. It should survive, though.
