Swingseat with a view

From this swingseat I have spent many a relaxing hour listening to the birds in the trees and enjoying the peaceful solitude of my garden. It truly is food for the soul. This year I decided to start feeding the birds and it has unexpected rewards, like not having to deal with aphids attacking my roses and ornamentals for the first time ever ! I've had Waxeyes, Blackbirds, Tuis, Wood Pidgeons and countless other birds visit my garden to feed this Spring. It's been a glorious experience and one I'll be repeating again. :-)
