Maigold mixed with Clematis jackmanii and my webcam bird nesting box. Unfortunately all I witnessed this year was a determined attack by a spotted woodpecker on the resident blue tit chicks (fortunately unsuccessful) and the eventual loss of all the chicks to cold and wet !

Yes, sad about the chicks. Let's hope the wet weather didn't cause the same outcome too often across the country, or the bird numbers will have declined.

As Skippy says, the flowers are a great combination. Wonderful choice of colours mixing together. :o)
