Amy ~
What a super little tree. Looks like the Flower Pot People invade only the best specimens.
I'm wondering if Gee and Catfinch agree with my theory that the Flower Pot People have sneaked into nurseries and garden centres worldwide.
So now, when you buy a plant, it needs checking for Flower Pot Toddlers and bootee decoys before you pay at the check-out.
Amy, are you sure this Flower Pot Person wasn't already in the tree when you bought it ? Those crafty FPPs know that we gardeners get so enthusiastic about our shrubs and plants, we wouldn't notice intruders. :o)

I,m pretty certain the FPP wasn,t in the tree at the time of purchase TT , we did however have a struggle to get the tree in the truck , it was left unattended when we took the trolly back , I believe that,s when it took the opportunity to slip in unnoticed ,
They can get quite vicious once they have been detected , spitting ,throwing objects . !!
Has anyone found a solution yet to rid us of them .... ???

Amy ~ keep strong.
Many stalwart GoY members are experimenting with various techniques to combat the FPP's. We seem to have quelled the Fancy Dress Gnomes, so there may be hope.
Clarice has an evil-looking seagull keeping look-out on her roof. David was bungee-jumping in his garden to get a better view. ( Photos in the pipeline ). Hywel has wellies on his keyring to try to lure in the Flower Pot Toddlers.
Even as we speak, Grenville, using the latest technology, is inventing new characters to be uploaded onto his latest blog. If any prove suitable to detect FPPs. I'm sure he'll let us know. And what about Bonkersbon's squirrels ? Have we seen any of those wearing Flower Pots ?
I've put your lovely little tree on my favourites.
This FPP was well-spotted.
