Purple Anemone.

Purple Anemone.

They are coming up in a pot planted last year - I can't understand why they would want to flower in December!

Mine are growing but show no sign of a flower, not that I would exspect one just yet.

I might have to put some in a pot like yourself, to get nice early ones.

Great pic.

~ are they in a heated greenhouse Spritz?Sometimes things are tougher than we think!

Nope - just in the pot where they flowered earlier this year (and last) standing outside the greenhouse in the cold! Unbelievable stamina!

~we have a problem with our heating this morning so as cold inside as outside today~currently wrapped up with several layers of everything on! these things are sent to try us but we will get it sorted!
I feel like your anemone~ stamina needed!

Beautiful Spritz, i have some of these that have just finished flowering a couple of weeks ago. and mine are outside planted in the bed, mind you as i remeber they were in a pack i found during the summer up the shed obviously had forgot to plant them, so i just put them in to see what happens, so maybe the fact that i planted late is why i got autumn/winter flowers instead of spring/summer. - will be interesting to see if and when they will flower next year!

I have white Japanese Anemone which must have self seeded from another garden as I didnt plant them, I think the variety I have is commonly known as the wind flower because it does take off and make home elsewhere. I dont know much about them, but mine is a welcome squatter :-)
