I missed this picture of Benny...how sweet he looks...pretty soon he is going to perch on your shoulder...might be hard to get a picture then, huh?

say, Irish, does your camera have a shutter delay? Mine does but I can't figure it out without spending a week with my nose in a manual...gettin' old's the pits! sorry to digress...would be a real coup to get a pic of Benny eating from your hand!!

aye it does have a shutter delay , i found that out by accident lol

oh Great! then you can practice getting shots of Benny ...how's he faring during this horrible blowy cold weather? All the little sparrows in my backyard just disappear into the conifers and cedars...some will even burrow into the snow! When I adopted the baby sparrow, I was worried about keeping Jacky warm but found that he was a little furnace... had to have a raging metabolism to stuff himself every 20 minutes or so! Kept me busy dealing with what came out the other end too!. and those downy feathers are excellent insulation.

the sparrows burrow into the snow?
benny seems ok Lori lol like jacky i think its all the good food he gets that is keeping him warm
