Kalanchoe beharensis - Felt Plant

Felt Plants in bloom in Balboa Park. These plants can very large in time...I've seen them almost 20 feet/ 6.2 meters tall here in San Diego. Photo taken Dec. 21, 2008.

As Wagger asks, are the leaves felt-like ?

Yes, I've had one of these plants for many years. The leaves feel just like felt. If you very closely you can almost see the felt on the leaves. The felt covers both sides of the leaf.

In my previous comment, I meant to say if you look very closely at the leaves you can see the felt. (It was very late when I posted the last comment)
