Chris, do you cut back the michaelmas daisies and such that were bushes around the arbours in fall? Do they return from root each year? I'm looking to get more attempts to overwinter going for next year and aster is on the list.

Yes Greenthumb I cut perennials such as Michaelmas daisies down in Autumn.
Dahlias of course have to be lifted.
