Oh, I love woodpeckers, there is one around here. But he does not show up often enough.

Great set of photos, Jacque. Years ago I spent ages trying to photograph a little group of green woodpeckers that visited our garden lawn. All I got were pictures of lawn!!

Thanx for all the comments they are really lovely Birds arent they Michaelle:) & never stay around for long ,Think this 1 was last seen in my garden agood 5/6wks ago hopping up the Pear Tree Peeking Away it was lol :)I do feel lucky 2 get a Woodpecker Visit My Garden as iv never seen 1 b4 liveing here so its a Specail site2me :)I took all this Pics from My Kitchen Window Gee so i cheated ;) lol
