You do take great photos! I am jealous. I can't get the birds to stand still for long enough! LOL.
10 Jan, 2009
Oh Spritz...the reason ours stay so still is theyre all stuffed !lol Look at the blackbird !
10 Jan, 2009
Ah-ha! That explains it all. What did you stuff them with? How do you get them to open their beaks so you can stuff the whatever in?
10 Jan, 2009
They stay so long because they are so well fed they can't take off, lol.

Oh Spritz its Jacques fault she has a brilliant recipe for burnt rice pudding...they eat it all and cant move off lol !

So it's Jacque's fault, is it? I reckon she got onto GOY and forgot the rice pudding. Easily done - and kind to the birds if they like it! LOL.

Nice lighting in this one :-) I heard/read somewhere that the width of the black stripe indicates dominence and that a bird with a thinner stripe will give way to a 'thick stripe' at a feeder.
16 Jan, 2009
Really Sid ? Now hadn t heard that but would make sense as suppose the fatter and bigger they get the broader the stripe .. someone said once reminded them of a little waistcoat so guess it looks like his buttons will pop !
