I hope mine comes even close! I think cutting hard more often would benefit mine as well. I keep it about 1 meter tall. I've a few to fiddle with. I'm doing different stuff to one in the work window at the office.

As you can see, often the leaves hide the blooms entirely, and you have to lift the leaves to discover them.

Mine have grown to almost 6 feet but no blooms in sight.

We prune ours back regularly, almost to the last leaf, because they get so ungainly. Try that. They love sunshine. Good luck!
