Aw Gillian......yes you take care now!

Mike drives through this every day to get to work, usually an hour+ in good weather but can take 3+ hours in the worst weather. The roads are actually pretty clear in this picture!

Very clear Gillian - not another car to be seen ! 3 hours to get to work OMG only just time to turn round and come home again ...

He's out of the house by 6.30am and usually gets home around 7.00pm (on a good day!).

Oh I dread to think what qualifies as a bad day for him ..heres hoping it clears soon .

Do you have chains or special tyres Gillian ?

No chains, don't think we can have them in Ontario because of the damage it would cause to the roads. Snow tyres are recommended but can't afford them at the moment. Mike really needs them on his car. My van has all season tyres (not quite as good as snow tyres, but better than regular) and traction control, which kicks in on the ice patches.

Don't know how much is on the side, but the roads have been cleared. So far this year we've had 125cm in Mississauga. Weather here is much better today, blue skies, sun and up to about -7 this afternoon. I saw some pictures on facebook of London, England today and must admit it looks more like Canada!
