The weather was sunny today so I was able to go out and re-plant the trough - it looks a lot better minus the dead Cyclamen!

It,s very pretty , I started putting these pretty daisy,s ( I can,t think of their proper name at the moment ) dotted about in my gravel drive I,m hoping they will spread this year ........

Oh - sorry - I thought I put their name on. They are Bellis perennis.
I think they are usually grown as biennials, though. Have you tried Erigeron karvinskianus? Have a look at no. 27 of my photos - see what you think, and just maybe...I could send you some seedlings in the spring?

Thanks, Eileen - I should have taken a photo of the flopped-out Cyclamen - they looked AWFUL! So it does look better now! :-)

Great trough planter! Does it have drainage holes?

This is lovely - I planted some Bellis last year which were white - then they changed to pink!

Yes, Tasteyg, it does, and it also has 'crocks' in the bottom. This is one of the two I was given by a Freecycler! ( I hope you know about Freecycle!)
I'm afraid I bought a tray, Angie - I didn't grow these. (I am ashamed now).

I have had a look at your Erigeron Karvinskianus Spritz , I did have one, i,m not sure what became of it .. If I don.t mark plants well enough my hubby dosn,t know they are there and they sometimes disappear when he is doing a job :o(
It would be lovely if you did have any seedling to spare , thank you . do they spread nicely once you have them ?

They seed themselves, Amy. However, they are easy to pull out if they grow where you don't want them. The plants do get bigger, too.

Thanks Spritz ... I have been out today and bought two of the Clematis which you have shown photos of and I fell in love with ... the Wisley Cream and Freckles , they are in pots ... would you leave them in the pots untill the weather improves ...
Also another two of the Euonymus " Green Rocket "
You are making me spend all my pocket money ... LOL ...

Oh dear, Amy! I'd better stop showing you nice plants! I'm glad you've found the two cirrhosas. Yes, I would wait a while as the soil is so wet and cold. I really like my 'Green Rocket' plants. I hope you enjoy yours, too.

Thanks for the advice Spritz I will leave them in pots until it is warmer , they are good healthy plants I don,t suppose they will flower this year , I have bought them to go up the new archway that we brought I will probably put roses up as well later , to help support them ........
I really wanted another 4 of the " Green Rocket " but they only had two left I will have to get some more another time !
